Bulgarian Community Center Celebrated its 10th Anniversary

The Bulgarian Community Center Celebrated its 10th Anniversary. The center was established in April 2012. Cofounders of the center are Assen and Simona Assenovi, Emil and Neli Daskalovi, Maria and Lubomir Grekovi, Nikolai and Diana Manolovi, Petko and Julieta Milushevi. In 2006 Bulgarian Community Center is registered as a non-for-profit organization by Assen and Simona Assenovi, and Diana and Rossen Roevi . As part of the Bulgarian Community Center the Bulgarian Music Society of Washington was founded in August 2009 through a grant from the St. George Foundation to present Bulgarian musical culture to Washington area audiences. Dr. Ivo Kaltchev, Artistic Director, Dr. Ralitza Patcheva, Associate Artistic Director and Dr. Assen Assenov, Executive Director , serve in the Board of Directors the Bulgarian Music Society. Diana Roeva, Petko Milushev, Daniela Power, Simona Assenova, Desi Jordanoff, Tzvety Weiner, Irena Todorcheva, Gina Godor, Nadya Baltiyska, Slavka Spanta, Georgi Kochev, Rossen Rossen, Assen Assenov serve in the Advisory board of the Bulgarian Community Center since April 2010.
